Valentine's Day and the 100th Day All in One!

We celebrated Valentine's Day by exchanging Valentines and having an Ice Cream Sundae Party.  Thank you to all of the families who donated items for our party and thank you to Galliker's Dairy for their donation of ice cream for our entire grade level.

Due to the Snow Days we've had, the 100th day was on the same day as our Valentine's Day Celebration.  We did a variety of 100th day Math Activities.

We solved some difficult Math problems to find 100 on the 100 Grid.  The students really enjoyed finding the mystery picture.

Thank you for stopping by!

Students wrote to the prompt "If I had one hundred dollars...."
Most of them wanted to go shopping, to the movies or out to eat.

My firsties insisted on having me in a picture with them, so here we are being silly together.  :0)

100th Day of School

'

The students were able to walk through the streamers into our room on Tuesday morning.

We solved several problems to create the number 100 on the Hundreds Chart.

At the end of the day, the students took home a 100 snack to share with their family.
