St. Patrick's Day

The students shared treats and encouragement with their reading teachers to spread some cheer!  Behind the tags are mini bags of Skittles candies.  The printable is available here.

We read The Luckiest Leprechaun by Justine Korman.  It's an engaging tale about friendship.

Then we wrote about when we feel lucky and created a Leprechaun, which we named with our own Irish name.  I am Mrs. O'Dryzal today!

This activity was in my file from when I taught first 3 years ago....you can get the patterns here.

Lucky Leprechaun left us a letter, along with some "Magic Powder."

We added milk to our "Magic Powder" and then....

While we sang the chant, the powder turned green!  After letting it set for 5 minutes....we had our own Leprechaun Snack!

Some of the children enjoying the Pistachio Pudding!

Thank you for stopping by!
Erin Go Bragh!
