Welcome back to school. We had a wonderful first week of classes at JMS. The sixth graders have been great and are really getting into the routines of the middle school. During the first week of school, we went over classroom rules and expectations, started a Student Resource Book scavenger hunt, and assessed the students using the GMADE diagnostic test to help us determine student strengths and areas of needed growth. We will complete our testing on Tuesday, and continue our work in Unit One of Everyday Math. Each week I will post homework, upcoming assessments and special events on this blog.
