JAHA Visits Room 23

As part of our Social Studies unit on Communities, Miss Taylor invited Miss Melody and Miss Kaytlin from the Johnstown Area Heritage Association shared a presentation about the impact felt on our community when a business opened and the impact on our community when a business closed.

The Kissing Hand

We read The Kissing Hand by Aubrey Penn on the first day of school.

Then we wrote how we were feeling, traced our hands and made our own Chester the Racoon.

Thanks for stopping by!

Transportation and After School Care

We had an awesome first day!  I just wanted to take a moment to remind families that if your child is NOT to ride the bus home, a note must be sent to school with the requested change.  Those changes include library pick-up, SACC or TLC.  At this time,  the beginning of TLC has not been announced.  Paperwork for that program will be sent home when it is received.

Thank you for your support and understanding!
