Thanksgiving

In Math, we practiced adding basic facts by playing Pilgrim themed Roll and Cover.

We wish you and yours a very, happy Thanksgiving!

Exponent Ball

We've been learning about exponents.  On Thursday, the students played Exponent Ball to practice using exponents, comparing values and using the power key.  These are some of my fourth period students.  They seemed to really enjoy the game.
You can find a copy of the game and explanation of the rules here:  http://www.indiana.edu/~iucme/docs/Exponent_Ball.doc

After playing the game, the students had to complete and exit slip to demonstrate their understanding.  I found this recording sheet online that I will use the next time we play this game.  http://www.docstoc.com/docs/55770842/Exponent-Ball
